Maartje ( Artez Popacademie Enschede )
Maartje maakt scherpzinnige nederpop. Haar muziek laat zich omschrijven als een combinatie van Sophie Ellis-Bextor en Froukje, met een vleugje Troye Sivan. Ze vangt haar persoonlijke beschouwingen in catchy hooklines en is niet bang om de luisteraar dichtbij te laten komen. Dit gecombineerd met het geproduceerde karakter van de muziek maakt het toegankelijk en een tikkeltje ongewoon. Het contrast dat hierdoor ontstaat is tekenend voor de zangeres. De pieken én dalen van het leven zijn de inspiratiebron voor haar liedjes. Tijdens een optreden zal je dan ook kunnen dansen en huilen, wie weet zelfs tegelijk.
Kaya ( Conservatorium van Amsterdam)
Kaya is a music artist based around the words and sounds of Juyane Kaya. In the form of an experimental three-piece band, Kaya creates a bittersweet ocean filled with songs about love, depression, ego, family and religion.
Kaya taught herself to swim alone. She has built a home within the belly of the Whale. A place where her songs can provide comfort to her audience and make everybody a drop less lonely.
Kaya is working towards her debut EP, titled “The belly of the whale”, planned to be released in the start of 2024.

Hopeloos verdwaald in zijn eeuwige "winterdip" zingt Flor over liefdesverdriet, ellende en zijn constante FOMO. Ondanks de de zwaarte in zijn teksten verlaat niemand de zaal zonder een klein dansje. Gedragen door hevige beats toont hij met de eerste EP (20/01) zijn veelzijdigheid, met de tweede EP wilt hij een plek veroveren in de Vlaamstalige House scene. Inspiratie komt van alle kanten, van Froukje tot Stromae en van K-pop tot Mozart. Gedreven door het donker probeert hij het daglicht te zien door samen met het publiek betere moment te creëren.

Feeding off the endless need to share their music, Citrus Blossom proposes an amalgam of genres with a rock base since 2017.
Deeply committed against social inequalities and the horrors of war, the sociopolitical lyrics of their original songs travel between grit and tenderness.
Cruising through high density, improvised songs and keeping the raw essence a quintet always pulls off, they have managed to create songs tailor-made to be played in front of a crowd.
Initially established in Greece, the band is now made up of eclectic international musicians that live in Utrecht. From Rock, Jazz, Folklore and Pop, the variety of musical influences contributed to compose the unique timbre by the dialogue between saxophone and violin which are coloring the eastern traditional voice lines.
